Cedar Point Country Club Wedding | Suffolk, VA | Chelse + Levi

I had been looking forward to Chelse and Levi's wedding for months.  The day of their wedding, the forecast called for rain.  On my way, the skies were overcast and I thought surely we would be rained out.  But the winds befriended us and pushed the clouds further west.  As I reached the top of the bridge just before arriving at Cedar Point, the sun arrived just in time to bless the proceedings.

They were so careful not to see one another before the ceremony.  At their engagement session, when I asked Chelse about her wedding dress, Levi covered his ears.  He was so looking forward to fully experiencing the moment when he saw his bride coming down the aisle.  They exchanged their gifts on opposite sides of a door and took a moment to hold hands for the last time as an engaged couple, minutes before they would walk down the aisle.

Beneath a patch of trees on the edge of the Nansemond River where it meets the James, they read the vows they had written for one another.  She cried, he cried, their guests cried, and so I did too.

Congratulations again, you guys.  I feel so lucky that I get to tell your beautiful story.
